It is so nice to meet you!
I offer warm, collaborative, evidence-based care for people navigating the complex emotional landscape of illness, loss, and caregiving. I am a clinical health psychologist with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, couples and families facing life-changing medical diagnoses. My approach is grounded in compassion and the science of wellbeing, with a deep appreciation for the resilience and vulnerability that come with living through medical uncertainty.
I bring specialized training and experience from academic medical centers—including the University of Colorado, Henry Ford Health System (Michigan), and Michigan State University—where I have helped to develop psycho-oncology, pain and transplant psychology programs and provided specialized individual, group, couples and family clinical services. My work has spanned inpatient medical units, multidisciplinary outpatient clinics, transplant programs, and integrated primary and specialty care settings, giving me a nuanced understanding of how physical health, emotional health, and identity intersect.
I hold advanced training, certification and clinical expertise in health psychology.
I am clinical psychologist currently licensed in Colorado (PSY.0005827). I also hold an E. Passport through the Authority to Practice Intrerjuridictional Telepsychology from the PSYPACT Commission (Mobility #: 24681). This also me to see patients virtually in 43 participating states.
Please feel free to reach out with specific questions.
Education, Selected Experiences and Areas of Expertise
On a personal note…
I am a Colorado native. I left to pursue my education and after nearly 15 years am thrilled to have returned home! When I am not working you can mostly likely find me chasing after my two little boys and crazy pup with my husband. As a serial hobbiest, I love to bake, read, craft, and do all things outdoors.
